WATER

Perhaps Duluth’s most popular of attractions, is the all free 9 mile walkway called the Lakewalk. It starts at the foot of the Aerial Lift Bridge and continues up the shore to the edge of town, where it meets trails and roadways that continue all the way to Canada.

Information about the Duluth Lakwalk can be found here. You can even rent bicycles and other non-motorized carts for a “speedier” trip up the shore.

PARK POINT BEACH

Don’t miss Park Point Beach, with 7 miles of beautiful sandy beach to wander that is directly on the shore of Lake Superior. This is also one of the best places to brave the cold waters of Lake Superior, and even heats up to a comfortable swimming temperature in the summer!
